NDIS Support Coordinator

Full Time – Ongoing

Shepparton or Seymour

This position provides support coordination to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to assist them in implementing the supports outlined in their NDIS plan. This includes informal, mainstream and community supports as well as funded supports.
The NDIS Support Coordinator will assist NDIS participants to:
• Understand their plan
• Identify and connect with services and providers to help them achieve their goals
• Arrange assessments that may be required
• Develop skills and build capacity to self-coordinate their supports.

The successful applicant will work with a dedicated supportive team to provide excellent outcomes for the NDIS participants.

The salary range for this position depends on qualifications and experience from $68,000 to $83,700.

Family Coach

Full Time – 2 year Fixed Term

Wallan

FamilyCare, in partnership with consortium members,  KidsFIRST, Wellways and Mitchell Shire are establishing The Hub 3756; a multiyear trial of an Early Help program for the Mitchell Shire community. As a Family Coach you will be supporting families with emerging needs using brief intervention, case management support and group work.

 We are looking for a Family Coach to join this exciting new initiative. We are looking for people who have experience working with children and families and able to establish strong partnerships with families, professionals and community. The aim of the work is to support families to achieve positive and long lasting outcomes.

The successful applicant will require skills to engage effectively with vulnerable families to bring about change. A Bachelor of Social Work or other tertiary qualifications relevant to social welfare practice is required.

The salary range for this position depends on qualifications and experience from $78,000 to $93,000.

Child and Family Practitioners

Child and Family practitioners, work with families where there are children up to the age of 18, supporting families with the wellbeing and development of children. We utilise a strength-based approach in supporting families to achieve their goals and work in alignment with the best interest’s framework

The successful applicant will require suitable tertiary qualifications and experience in social welfare practice and an understanding of the issues related to families, children and adolescents in the areas of family functioning, parent/child relationships and child and adolescent development. 

The salary range for this position depends on qualifications and experience from $68,000 to $83,700.

Parenting Assessment and Skills Development Practitioner

Full Time – Ongoing

Shepparton

Parenting Assessment Skills Development (PASD) Practitioners provide an intensive in-home family intervention service, which is designed to work with families to address identified protective concerns and enhance family functioning.

Referrals are only accepted from the Department of Families Fairness and Housing – Child Protection, for infants, children and young people under 18 years deemed at risk.

The service criteria for PASD is infant (zero to two years) involved with Child Protection and assessed to be at high risk and there are concerns regarding the parent’s ability to provide care for the infant. The intervention is conducted up to 12-week timeframe, which includes a 3-week assessment and follow up 9-week skill development phase, as assessed appropriate.

PASD Practitioners work collaboratively and in partnership with the protective manager the Department of Families Fairness and Housing. Child Protection Unit Practitioner.

The salary range for this position depends on qualifications and experience from $68,000 to $83,700.

Child and Family Practitioner – Family violence focus

This role will predominately engage with families that are affected by family violence as part of the child and family response. Child and Family services, work with families where there are children up to the age of 18, supporting families with the wellbeing and development of children. We utilise a strength-based approach in supporting families to achieve their goals and work in alignment with the best interest’s framework

The successful applicant will require suitable tertiary qualifications and experience in social welfare practice and an understanding of the issues related to families, children and adolescents in the areas of family functioning, parent/child relationships and child and adolescent development. The successful applicant will also need strong knowledge and experience in family violence, including relevant theory and frameworks, dynamics and the overall impact violence has on children, individuals and families.

The salary range for this position depends on qualifications and experience from $68,000 to $83,700.

Disability Support Worker

IntoRec offers a variety of assisted programs and recreational activities for children and young people with a disability. These programs aim to provide a safe, enjoyable and nurturing environment where children and young people can make friends, participate in fun activities while giving the carers and families a much needed break.

We are seeking casual Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Shepparton.

To be successful in this position you will need the following:

  • experience in working with children/young people or adults with a disability
  • Cert III in Disability or relevant qualifications (or working towards)
  • Be available during school holidays, afternoons and evenings and weekends
