Child and Family Worker – Intensive

Shepparton – Full time

Intensive Family Services (200 hours) is provided for families whose children are subject to Family Preservation or Family Reunification Orders. This program works intensively with families in partnership with Child Protection (and other services where required) to achieve Child Protection case plan goals. The role encourages promotion of child safety, development and permanency, increasing parenting capacity and improving family functioning.

Child FIRST Intake Worker

Shepparton – Full time

This position provides an intake and referral point for support services for children and families. The role receives referrals, provides information and advice and undertakes initial assessments for children and families, focussing on child development and family vulnerability.

Child and Family Worker – Integrated Family Services

Shepparton – Full time

 

The Integrated Family Services team work with clients from all backgrounds and cultures who have a child (or pre-birth) from 0-18. Child and Family Workers support client families with the care, wellbeing and development of children and young people. Working collaboratively with other service providers we assist families with a range of support needs, such as mental health, family violence, disability.  We are looking for applicants with good interpersonal skills, an ability to work with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds and a strong understanding of risk assessment.

Recreation Program Workers

Shepparton – Casual

These positions work with children and young people with a disability to provide support in both group and one on one settings. A minimum qualification of Certificate III in Disability is required along with relevant experience. Assisting with supervision and support whilst at recreational activities is a large part of the role, along with some individual support.

Peer Support Volunteers

Shepparton – Casual

Peers Support volunteers work alongside children and young people with a disability to provide them support in group setting activities. The Peer Support Volunteer assists the child or young person to participate in recreational activities, while being fully supervised by program staff. People between 15 and 25 years that are interested in volunteering with children and young people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
