Child and Family Services Alliance Coordinator

 The Child and Family Services Alliance is a partnership between FamilyCare, The Bridge Youth Service, Rumbalara, Child Protection and Department of Health and Human Services.

The Child and Family Services Alliance Coordinator will support the Alliance as part of a broader integrated service system which contributes to the wellbeing, safety and best interests of vulnerable children in our community.

The Coordinator will also support the Alliance with administrative support and coordination.

The role is also responsible for facilitating and supporting catchment planning, coordinating professional development and networking, assisting with the planning and implementation of Child and Family Services and its connection with the broader service system.

Carer Support Coordinator

(NDIS Community Connector Portfolio)

0.4 EFT negotiable  – 12 month contract

This is a part time position as a Carer Support Coordinator with the portfolio responsibility of NDIS Community Connector. This portfolio aims to assist ageing and prematurely ageing carers that provide informal support to a person/s with a disability, to access and engage with the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The successful applicant will require appropriate tertiary qualifications along with knowledge and experience of the NDIS service system. Excellent engagement and communication skills are required and a sound knowledge of the issues impacting carers.

To be successful in this position you will need the following:
• Experience in working with children/young people or adults with a disability
• Cert III in Disability or relevant qualifications (or working towards)
• Be available during school holidays, afternoons and evenings and weekends
