Emergency Recovery Support Program
Emergency recovery support is available for people directly affected by the January 2026 fires. Support is based on your and your family’s needs.
Recovery support workers can support with goal setting and connecting to appropriate supports.
They can help with finding local services such as:
- disaster legal help
- insurance advocacy
- financial counselling
- your health and wellbeing
- registering for government services such as grants and temporary accommodation.
We will work with you to find and access services you need, coordinate supports and advise what services and programs are available for you.
