16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign calling for an end to violence against women and girls. Held each year from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, the campaign brings people and communities together to raise awareness, challenge the attitudes and behaviours that contribute to violence, and promote action for change.
Across the Goulburn region, organisations, services, community groups and individuals come together during the 16 Days to raise awareness, start conversations and take action to prevent family violence and build safer, more respectful communities.
