Drumbeat is a therapeutic group intervention aimed to improve relationships, self-worth, lowering psychological distress and improve self-esteem.
The sessions will include activities and discussions to support the healing of one’s sense of harmony, identity, communication, emotions and feelings and relationships. Participants will receive a recycled water cylinder and materials to decorate their own drum with glue and material in the first session – a meet and greet.
Pre-made drums are also available and participants can join in and watch.
All drums will be delivered to the home/letterbox to minimize contact as soon as possible after registration. Drums can be kept and played with the family.
