Placement Prevention
The Placement Prevention program aims to prevent and decrease the number of out-of-home placements for children and young people whom are highly vulnerable and at risk of harm.
Eligibility:
Although any child at risk of out-of-home placement is eligible for the Placement Prevention program, there are specific eligibility criteria, which include:
- Children, under the age of 18, at imminent risk of out-of-home placement who are currently residing at home, or who have been in a temporary or emergency out-of-home residence, and have returned home by the time of the referral.
- Children, under the age of 18, who are being considered for out-of-home placement and where CP services requires a FF service.
